The Role

As the Sales Development Representative for Draftable in the UK & EU, your primary focus will be on:

  • Outbound Sales Efforts: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through strategic outbound campaigns. Working closely with our global marketing team, you'll spend the majority of your time reaching out to potential clients, building relationships, and setting up meetings for our Account Executives.
  • Nurture & Retain Relationships: In addition to outbound efforts, you'll also manage existing customer relationships, ensuring high retention rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Inbound Lead Management: Handle a queue of inbound opportunities, nurturing relationships with prospective customers and guiding them through the early stages of the sales funnel.
  • Collaborative Selling: Work closely with Account Executives to transition qualified leads smoothly and ensure a cohesive sales strategy.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Use consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs deeply and tailor Draftable’s offerings to provide the best possible solutions.


About You

  • Outbound Sales Expertise: You have a proven track record in outbound sales, with a focus on proactive lead generation and qualification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2+ years in sales and account management, ideally within the technology or software industry.
  • Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and are comfortable taking the initiative.
  • Communication Skills: You excel in communication, particularly over the phone, and have strong customer service skills.
  • Problem-Solver: You are resourceful and enjoy troubleshooting to meet customer needs.
  • Motivation & Curiosity: You are eager to learn, advance your career, and contribute to a growing company.


Preferred Experience:

  • Technical Familiarity: Understanding of IT infrastructure, APIs, Artificial Intelligence, and general technology trends.
  • CRM experience: preferred background using Hubspot, Zoominfo and MS office suite
  • Industry Experience: Background in selling software, cloud services, or other technology products to large businesses.
  • Role Understanding: Familiarity with the roles of IT systems administrators, product owners, and CTOs.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
  • On Target Earnings (OTE): £35,000 - £40,000 (uncapped), with performance-based incentives.
