Job Description
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximise performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage a mix of field and office based sales people to drive growth and consistently achieve on target performance.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior leadership.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote and increase sales of SP Services products and services.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, and advertisements.
- Oversee the management of the company's online presence, including the website and social media channels.
- Coordinate market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.
- Plan and manage promotional events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to align sales and marketing strategies with overall company goals.
- Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance sales and marketing effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Purchasing and Customer Support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to the senior management team on sales and marketing performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business Management / Administration.
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, with some marketing experience - preferably within the medical or healthcare industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
- Commercially astute with a results-oriented approach.
