Our client is a household-name chilled foods company and a leading player in its category, supplying both brand and own-label products to the Grocery Multiples, Convenience and Foodservice trade channels. The role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be a consumer champion and ambassador for the health products portfolio within the company. You will be a proactive leader that inspires co-owners and galvanises their support by regularly showcasing the ambitious consumer led growth plans aligned to this portfolio. Through a deep consumer understanding and specialised expertise, you will lead the current and future strategy, planning and tactical development of your brand portfolio, creating winning consumer value and growing demand to drive impactful profitable sales.

Through strong collaboration with colleagues & external partners you will lead and contribute to projects as well as help others to solve complex problems that successfully enable the delivery of our client’s vision, long term strategy and health ambitions. The position is office based, with the flexibility to work from home two days per week.

About you

You have a strong track record working on FMCG brands in the UK or other grocery sectors. You possess proven experience in brand management including strategic & tactical planning. With c. 3-5 years’ marketing experience, you are confident in developing and implementing insight led brand plans and in commissioning consumer research and writing strong agency briefs.

Your experience should include leading NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch. You have honed your presentation skills, selling into retailer buyers. You are competent working with IRI EPOS data and Kantar panel data.

You are currently a Senior Brand Manager, looking for your next challenge, or an ambitious Brand Manager, looking to step up into a Senior Brand Manager position. You are highly personable, curious, commercially intelligent, and demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to managing change and ambiguity.
