Job Overview:
Heels & Brogues Recruitment are working with a big client who are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Midlands area. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, expanding the client base, and strengthening relationships with existing customers in the industrial air compressor market. You will play a key role in developing strategic partnerships and increasing sales across various industries.

Key Responsibilities for Business Development Manager:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial air compressor market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet business targets and objectives.
• Generate leads, set up meetings, and present products and services to potential clients.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer needs.
• Collaborate with the technical and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans.
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to promote the company.

Requirements for Business Development Manager:

• Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the industrial equipment, air compressor, or related sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build lasting relationships and manage multiple accounts.
• Full UK driving license.
• Ability to travel across the Midlands and occasionally beyond for client meetings.
