A new opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a Liverpool based plastic manufacturing company on a day shift (08.00. 16.30)

Reporting into the Engineering Manager you will join a team of Maintenance Engineers, ensuring all machines are effectively maintained and optimised to support production.

Key Tasks:

• Planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance

• Fault finding and diagnosis on electrical software and systems

• Work closely with production to ensure plant meets all KPI's

• Identify improvement opportunities and support development of systems to help move the department forward

• Contribute to Capex projects - equipment installation, commissioning, automation upgrades

• Ensure all H&S procedures are adhered to

• Implement engineering solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner

• Manage site automation systems

Key requirements:

• Time served Electrical Engineer (HNC/HND)

• Experience gained in a med-heavy manufacturing environment

• C&G th Edition

• Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Mechanical aptitude

• Improvement mind-set

• Excellent communication skills
