Production Manager

A well established engineering company in Herefordshire are looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager. The successful candidate will also play a key role within the senior leadership team.

Role requirements ;

• Possess strong leadership skills to inspire our production team to achieve operational excellence.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement mythologies such as TPM, Lean and Six Sigma and promote continuous improvement.
• Have experience in working to ISO standards and promoting cultural engagement to ensure that they are continually met.
• To have a problem-solving mindset to anticipate problems and implement preventative strategies.
• Familiarity working with ERP systems to manage a shop floor environment.
• To be an effective communicator and demonstrate a pro-active approach throughout all levels of the business.

Desired Qualifications ;

• ILM L5
• Engineering apprenticeship and/or HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
• IOSH qualification in Managing Safely.
• Formal Six Sigma qualifications (Green/Black belt).

• Implement lean manufacturing principles and promote continuous improvement.

• Lead production processes with a focus on quality and efficiency to meet customer deadlines.
