Key Responsibilities




  • Innovate: Partner with Product Management to craft and execute a bold Product Roadmap that sets new industry standards.
  • Explore: Seek out and integrate the latest technologies to enhance product performance and create next-gen solutions.
  • Create: Transform innovative concepts into market-leading products through detailed design, rigorous analysis, and hands-on testing.
  • Lead: Manage and execute product and system testing, ensuring our products meet and exceed international standards.
  • Document: Produce clear, compelling technical documentation and presentations that communicate the brilliance of your work to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Refine: Continuously improve our design tools, testing methods, and data analysis techniques to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Drive: Take ownership of projects through the entire Product Development & Introduction (PDI) phase, from idea to launch.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with global Engineering teams and cross-functional departments to share knowledge, best practices, and drive the success of our products.
  • Influence: Participate in industry working groups and standards committees, playing a key role in shaping the future of the industry.
  • Inspire: Help cultivate a team culture that embraces continuous improvement and challenges the status quo at every turn.
  • Mentor: Guide and develop the next generation of engineers by sharing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Engage: Stay at the forefront of industry developments by participating in conferences, events, and networking opportunities.




Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field will give you an edge.
  • Membership in a relevant Electrical Engineering institution is a plus.




Experience




  • Proven track record in designing, developing, testing, and launching innovative products.
  • Deep understanding of data transmission principles, data cabling, and data communications is advantageous.
  • Experience in structured cabling, data transmission, and data communication will set you apart.
  • Proficient in using electrical design, analysis, and test equipment/tools.
  • Hands-on experience with signal integrity testing and network analysers is a must.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools like Minitab or JMP is a bonus.
  • Strong experience in leading and successfully delivering complex technical projects.
