RC Fornax are looking for someone to join the sales department in the role of a Business Development Manager, with the responsibility of generating sales for the business from both new and existing customers.
In this role, excellent people skills are required, as well as a proven track record of selling services, particularly in the Aerospace and Defence market.
Main Responsibilities
- Building and Managing your own opportunity pipeline.
- Understanding customer requirements.
- Generating sales from new and existing customers, delivering on company targets.
- Maintain a high level of company knowledge and understanding competition in the defence consultancy space.
- Proactively develop relationships with potential clients.
- Attend webinars, conferences and trade shows where applicable.
Organisational Relationships
- Reporting into the Head of Sales
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Relationship building skills
- Ability to work to targets
- Persistent and resilient attitude
- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with cold calling and account management
- Understanding the Aerospace and Defence industry would be a benefit
- Proven track record of driving results in a sales environment
