The roleYour role will include but is not limited to:

• Select and make good use of teaching materials, computing and other learning resources which enable teaching objectives to be met
• Subject knowledge at the appropriate level to respond to pupil's questions and know about their common misconceptions and mistakes
• Set appropriate and challenging expectations for all pupils' learning and plan lessons to inspire and motivate them
• Assess and record each pupil's progress systematically and use records to ensure that pupils make demonstrable progress in accordance with school expectations
• Understand fully and comply with the duties and responsibilities in relation to child protection and safeguarding children and young people
• 
  Requirements
• Must possess QTS
• Have a valid in-date Enhanced DBS (preferably on the Update Service)
• Have experience teaching KS1 and KS2 materials and students
• Have an extensive knowledge and well-informed understanding of the assessment requirements and arrangements for the subjects/curriculum areas
