Reporting to the Director of Technology & Innovation, the Power Platform Developer will take responsibility for managing and improving our group-wide Power Platform strategy. If you are organised, able to work solo and as part of a team and manage projects we want to hear from you!

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Designing and building new and replacement solutions using the Power Platform and the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem and associated technologies.

Develop custom connectors for APIs for other software products for use within platforms.

Excellent customer service, working with key stakeholders well to define requirements and manage end user roll out and where appropriate training

Stay on top of technology trends and developments.

Work with various teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues and queries.

Managing an incident queue ensuring that service availability is maintained, keeping customers informed of progress of their issue.

Proactively suggest improvements to internal process and procedure where relevant as well as follow best practice in all development.

Work solo as well as providing support to other team members by sharing resources and knowledge.

Upgrade the system as required by the growing needs of the business.

Manage a list of user development requests, ensuing log of priorities and ROI to business.

Develop using established best practice.

Ownership of the licencing and cost of the PowerPlatform with regular reporting to management.

Be available for out of hours support.


Skills & experience required:

Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, preferably 2 years of previous experience.

Previous experience in a Support environment.

Strong understanding of Power Platform, DataVerse, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dynamics.

Proven ability to create professional Canvas and Model Power Apps with attractive user interfaces, associated views, forms, business rules, relationships, and process flows

Develop, manage and maintain the project lifecycle from concept, creation, deployment and ongoing administration

The motivation and enthusiasm to take ownership and responsibility.

Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Outstanding communication skills.

Experience of handling customer complaints effectively.
