SharePoint SME - Contract

People Source Consulting are currently seeking a Microsoft (MS) SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME). To join an ongoing defence programme.

The role is to support the Programme Team in transitioning applications that use MS SharePoint/Operational SharePoint (OpSP) to transition to a cloud hosting environment in an agile way. Also, to assist in the restructuring of SharePoint for the team and creation of new SharePoint sites for the team in support of User Access Management (UAM) and any related work required in support of this.

Skills and Experience Required:

• MS SharePoint
• MSP Professional qualification
• Ideally looking for someone with years of experience over multiple versions.
• Experience and quals in SP2019, SP2016 or SP2013 would be beneficial.
• Proven experience in PowerShell and general scripting/optional programmer/SharePoint dev and ops engineering experience.
• Must have experience of having performed migrations from target environment for SharePoint to cloud environment.
• Working in cloud environment is essential.
• Proven experience in working within a programme of similar size and complexity
• Proven organisational skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reporting: ability to gather, analyse and present accurate, consistent messages to management boards/C4ISR Programme Manager and Application Support Group (ASG).
• Experience of dealing with remote groups of stakeholders and managing expectations and communications between disparate groups.
• The ability to work under pressure and adhere to challenging timescales.
• Experience of dealing with remote groups of stakeholders and managing expectations and communications between disparate groups.
• Experience in working in a large-scale change programme.
• Demonstration of working on a large-scale technical project / programme.

Due to the nature of the requirement, SC Clearance must be held prior to work starting. As such candidates should hold live, valid SC Clearance OR as a minimum equirement - be eligible and willing to undertake clearance.

In Return:

• Up to 700pd (Inside of IR35)
• Initial 6 month contract
• Hybrid working, 3 days pw in Abbeywood or Corsham as required
