Commercial Finance Analyst

This newly created Commercial Finance Analyst hybrid role (3 days/wk in the office) will operate as part of a vibrant team of commercially focused, creative thinking professionals. The role will suit a like-minded person with a Finance background now seeking a more Commercial role and will require the individual to form strong working relationships with the client-facing agency fee earners.

Reporting jointly to the CFO and operationally to the Agency Commercial Director, you will operate as a key member of the Commercial Finance team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Collation of timely and robust monthly management accounts with supporting commentary.
• Development of departmental Budgets and regular Forecasting exercises.
• Attend monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings to provide analysis of the previous month's performance and future performance vs MI/KPI metrics.
• Proactive Project performance reporting of live Advertising Campaigns to both Management and Client.
• Regular detailed meetings with the Agency teams to provide a robust "commercial challenge" in order to ensure true and accurate WIP income recognition/client billing.
• Continuously seeking ways to improve operational and commercial performance.
• Overall, to play an active role to "make your mark" to support the business to achieve its exciting profitable growth strategy going forward.

The successful candidate will be a high calibre part-qualified/Finalist with with well developed Excel skills.

Importantly, you will need to have a highly sociable, outgoing personality with strong communication skills to "fit" and thrive in this fast moving, people oriented "buzzy" Advertising Agency business culture.
