Commercial Litigation Paralegal

We are currently seeking to appoint a driven and motivated Paralegal to join our Commercial Litigation team where you will predominately deal with Debt Recovery and pre-insolvency related matters.

Job Responsibilities:

• To conduct challenging and high-value defended debt and pre-insolvency matters (e.g. winding up petitions) whilst working under the supervision of qualified lawyers in the commercial litigation team.
• Drafting of legal documentation
• Managing deadlines and competing work priorities
• Assisting with enquiries from clients.
• Any other duties within the scope and spirit of the post as required.

Person Specification:

• Good understanding and prior experience of the Debt Recovery & Litigation process and regulations
• Working knowledge of the litigation processes from issuing claims through to varying enforcement methods.
• Fantastic communication skills
• Desire to play a key role in the future development of the team
• Team player
