Stores & Inspection Operative

Stores & Quality control, Temp to Perm, 12ph

We are looking for applicants with experience in Stores and Inspection for our local client in Ilfracombe.

The Role:

• Support supply and demand through machining and Inspection stages including using the bespoke Kanban process and control boards.
• De-cant and sort returns from Sub-con treatment processes including organising the supporting documentation
• Inspect prepare parts for machining - visual and put-into-round ( I.D. welding needs, rework and scrap).
• Raise PO's for in-house/subcon Machining and organise delivery to provider.
• Support the flow of part numbers through the finishing value stream Cells.
• Clean, final inspect, pack and palletise for transportation.
• Completion of supporting documentation for expediting orders including transport needs
• Basic keyboard use on our MRP system.
• Other duties can include consumable stocktake, consumable replenishment and general stores duties etc.
