Sales Manager

We are seeking a talented Sales and Depot Manager to oversee our depot in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage a diverse team effectively, have knowledge of Windows packages, be sales focused and a clean driving licence is essential

Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a small team of depot staff, ensuring smooth operations and high-performance levels
- Manage inventory levels, stock control, and order processing efficiently
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards within the depot
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Monitor and improve depot processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally

- Contact both suppliers & customers (sales knowledge is essential) has to be within the last 24 months

- Sage Accounts knowledge

- Computer literate all windows packages

- Work under pressure

-The ideal candidate will have gained experience in a sales role to help maximize profits

-Candidate needs to be local to Halifax to deal with any issues outside of business hours

- Excellent telephone manner

- FLT Licence is desired but not essential

- The ideal candidate will have to live locally due to holding keys & checking on any alarm activation's

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role warehouse environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and priorities workloads effectively
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as record keeping and reporting
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a team of employees

Must have car licence

Must have sales background (within last 2 years)

Must have managerial experience last 2 years

Warehouse experience desired
