Company profile

Awesome Books is a bookselling business with a difference! We source over 500,000 used books per week with a singular mission – to stop these books going to landfill and to allow the ideas and knowledge they contain to be shared as many times as possible. In doing so, we have a sustainable model of retailing right at the heart of the way we work. Why compel readers to buy new copies of books which already exist and can be reused? Of course, not every book has pre-loved copies available. So we offer a further 6 million books to our customers, meaning they have the full range of buying choices available at their fingertips when buying their books. We don’t stop there…for every book bought from AwesomeBooks.com, we donate a book to one of our literacy partners. This means in the act of buying something as simple as a book, our customers are powering literacy and opportunity for others where their circumstances might necessitate being given a helping hand. A passion for books, sustainability at our core and using literacy to empower others – these are our reasons for existing.
