Healthcare Assistant/ Support Worker

Workforce Personnel are recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to join our brilliant team to support various local residential care homes, supported living units, nursing homes and day centres with in the Bedfordshire area.

The main duties will include: -
- Supporting vulnerable people with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health and elderly people.
- Social, emotional and physical support to all clients
- Manual handling and personal care.
- Assisting with activities
- Supporting Independent living

You must have: -

- At least 1 year UK experience

- A caring and empathetic nature
- Sensitivity towards the needs of vulnerable people
- Reliable working ethics
- Good writing skills
- A good communicator
- An active team player
- Be able to follow instructions
- Be able to work flexible working patterns and available at short notice
- Previous experience working within a similar environment within a care setting.
- Be able to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
- The willingness to conduct the mandatory training

To be a suitable candidate for this role you must have 1 year UK experience, hold a driving licence, have access to your own car and also be able to work full time.
