PR Account Manager

An exciting NEW opportunity for an experienced PR Account Manager to join a dynamic agency working within the build environment.

My client is an independent public relations agency with offices in England and Scotland. Offering flexible working arrangement, allowing employees to work from home with the option of spending three days a week in the London office. The company is known for fostering a positive work culture, their office features a modern workspace with a café, lounge areas, and a rooftop overlooking the city, perfect for social gatherings during the summer.

The agency works with a wide range of clients, including housebuilders, estate agents, construction firms, and organizations focused on zero carbon ambitions. By enhancing the profiles of these businesses both locally and nationally, the agency plays a key role in shaping their communications strategies.

Bringing together over five decades of combined expertise in delivering impactful PR campaigns with a fresh and dynamic approach, it supports property and construction companies across the UK in raising their profiles.

  • Hybrid working: 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)

The ideal candidate is a superb writer with a strong network of property journalists across national, regional and trade press. Management experience, PR Industry knowledge and experience in building networks are a must for this role!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of PR accounts for a variety of clients
  • Offering strategic advice to clients to enhance PR and marketing initiatives
  • Supplying media outlets with company information, commentary, or product details
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and media contacts
  • Liaising with clients regarding press campaigns, creative projects, and PR strategies
  • Managing media relations, including speaking with journalists and coordinating press activity
  • Proposing innovative and creative ideas to enhance client campaigns
  • Briefing clients on campaign progress and providing regular updates
  • Analyzing PR coverage and preparing detailed reports
  • Communicating effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring client billing and preparing finance reports

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Established network of property journalists and media contacts
  • Ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure
  • Proven experience in managing PR campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Strong team player with excellent people management skills
