Test Technician

A multibillion dollar blue chip company are looking to grow their team in the UK.

They are looking for a Test Technician to utilize their existing custom, on-prem software applications and test scripts for video quality assessment and network bandwidth testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video processing, network management, and automation. The Test Technician will be responsible for executing tests, analyzing results, and working closely with my client development team to improve their products.

This position will be based 5 days onsite in Cambridge.

Preferred qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with device management.
• Knowledge of machine learning models for video quality prediction.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and/or shell scripting (Bash, etc.) for automation.
• Understanding of database management systems (e.g. SQL, RDS, Aurora) and data visualization tools (QuickSight).
