Location: Cardiff (Tec Marina office) with hybrid working available (up to 2 days home working per week after initial onboarding)


Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Role Overview:

As our Assistive Technology Trainer and Evangelist, you'll be a driving force behind promoting Ayoa's benefits to DSA and workplace managers, assessors, and end-users. You'll build strong relationships within the assistive technology community and become a trusted expert in the field.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging training sessions and demonstrations of Ayoa for DSA and workplace assessors, both remotely and in-person
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the DSA and workplace assessment sectors
  • Provide expert support on Ayoa features, recommendations, and queries
  • Collaborate with our product development team to incorporate user feedback into Ayoa's continuous improvement
  • Represent OpenGenius at industry events, conferences, and webinars as an Assistive Technology expert
  • Develop and deliver regular webinars and one-to-one demos to highlight Ayoa's features and benefits
  • Stay informed about industry changes and competitor offerings to ensure OpenGenius remains at the forefront of assistive technology
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and social media content to promote Ayoa in the assistive technology sector


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an Assistive Technology Trainer for DSA students and/or AtW (Access to Work) clients or proven experience as a DSA Needs Assessor or AtW Workplace Needs Assessor (essential)
  • In depth understanding of the DSA and workplace markets and the assessor decision-making process
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Confident delivering both remote or in-person AT training sessions
  • Ability to explain complex technological concepts in simple, engaging ways
  • Self-motivated with a passion for assistive technology and supporting diverse learning needs
