About the General Manager Role

Reporting to the Divisional Director, the General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the site’s business activities, which includes overseeing sales, operations, financial management and human resources.

Other responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing a strategic plan to enhance the company’s market positioning.

Establish objective plans, budgets and result measurements for all departments.

Monitor and analyse management accounts.

Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

About You

The successful General Manager will have strong leadership skills in order to effectively manage and engage a diverse team. You will also demonstrate the ability to make clear, objective decisions that enhance and develop the business. Due to the specialised nature of this role, experience and knowledge in the packaging industry are essential.

• Experience within the packaging industry is essential.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of manufacturing processes.
• Possess strong commercial awareness.
• Have a proven track record in your current and previous roles.
