Job Requirements/Description

We have a really exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly organised public relations professional to join a PR agency known for its award-winning campaigns that drive positive social change as an Account Executive.

Could that be you? We’re looking for a self-starter with a keen interest in media relations, a desire to deliver a positive impact on the world, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.

About the Role: The role primarily focuses on a mixture of public sector clients, including creative campaigns for government initiatives, as well as consumer brands. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks, including keeping media lists updated, drafting status notes, and supporting campaign delivery. With a keen eye for detail, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.

You will be involved in a variety of media and campaign work, developing strong relationships with journalists, and proactively seeking opportunities to secure high-impact coverage. Strong writing skills are essential, as you’ll be drafting bylines, press releases, and sometimes you may even be contributing to trade titles.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of PR experience, ideally with exposure to both corporate and consumer sectors. Experience in B2B is also advantageous, as well as familiarity with public sector communications or just being a current affairs fanatic. High organisational skills and strong writing are a MUST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media relations: Proactively pitch stories to media outlets and working with the social team to approach influencers, securing valuable coverage.
  • Campaign delivery: Assist in delivering high-impact campaigns, ensuring timely and organised execution.
  • Account management: Handle the administrative tasks, including media monitoring and reporting, to keep client campaigns on track.
  • Writing: Produce high-quality written content, from press releases to client updates, showcasing creativity and accuracy.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in PR
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, with a keen eye for media opportunities.
  • A passion for positive change, with a culturally and politically aware mindset.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to grow their career in a fast-paced, supportive environment that champions creativity and social impact.

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds to apply, as the agency cares deeply about equal opportunities and creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and have been a stalwart of the PR Week Pay Gap project.

We will aim to get back to as many applicants as possible. However if you haven’t heard from us in seven days, your application has not been successful this time.
