Job Description:
- Data Management Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of data management concepts.
- Data Catalog Experience: Hands-on experience with data catalog tools such as Alation, Collibra, or similar platforms.
- Python Scripting Skills: Proficient in Python scripting.
- Data Platform Exposure: Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or S3.
- Data Quality Tools: Knowledge of data quality tooling and practices.
- Relational and Metadata Models: Solid understanding of relational databases and metadata models.
Additional Technical Responsibilities
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to a team of developers to enhance their technical skills and increase productivity.
- Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive code reviews, oversee quality assurance processes, optimize performance, and implement best practices and coding standards to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.
- Process Compliance: Ensure process compliance within the assigned module and participate in technical discussions or act as a consultant for feasibility studies, technical alternatives, and risk assessment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Prepare and submit status reports to minimize exposure to risks and ensure the closure of escalations.
