Location: Coventry (Roaming Role)

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Package

Company Overview:

We are working with a leading aggregates and concrete company, a sister company to a top-tier construction firm, seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of safety across multiple sites.

Role Overview:

As the Health and Safety Manager, you will be based in Coventry but will have a roaming role, covering various sites. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and compliance of fleet operations, conduct daily inspections, and deliver training programs for drivers. You will also be responsible for managing health and safety management systems, conducting audits, and overseeing site inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and implement health and safety policies and procedures across all sites.
• Ensure fleet maintenance and compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential risks.
• Deliver training and development programs for drivers to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage and maintain health and safety management systems and ensure they are up to date.
• Carry out audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with the management team to promote a positive safety culture across the organisation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Proven experience in a health and safety management role, ideally within the aggregates, concrete, or construction industry.
• Experience managing fleet safety, driver training, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.
