Driver / Stores Person

The Company

A leading international engineering business whose products are used in a wide range of applications.

The Role

The Driver/Stores Person will control the receipt, storage and issue of bought in and manufactured parts as well as pack for despatch of spare parts and units. They will also phosphate parts using a chemical process.

The work will include the following:

Drive company van to collect and deliver parts to third party suppliers

Pick orders ready for assembly and put in the correct location.

Use computer system to check components against customer order and allocate parts to customer.

Determine shipment and packaging requirements for spare parts and units.

Pack spares items and units securely, including the use of any anti-corrosive protection requirements and labelling.

Phosphating (coating) of parts using a chemical process.

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you must

1. Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent

2. Previous experience in a stores environment

3. Clean UK driving license

4. Forklift licence required
