Job Title: Sales Administrator
Location: Royston
Contract Length: 6 months

As a Sales Administrator you will oversee the complete order management process from initiation to delivery by collaborating with various departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all customer orders.

As a Sales Administrator your duties will include:

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and they receive an outstanding level of service.
  • Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments, including Engineering, Planning, Production, and Quality, to gain a comprehensive understanding of order status.
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding potential delays or issues to manage expectations.
  • Address and resolve all inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners and courier services to arrange shipments.
  • Manage inventory availability for demonstration units by coordinating logistics for each item.
  • Participate in daily and weekly production meetings to stay informed of current operations.
  • Maintain and distribute weekly open order reports specific to each customer.
  • Process invoices and credit transactions weekly to ensure financial objectives are met by month-end.
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales Team Lead to achieve key business performance indicators.
  • Engage in projects focused on process improvement and organizational change.
  • Provide support for spare parts management.

The successful Sales Administrator will have the below skills and experience:

  • Experience working in a customer service function
  • Proven background in sales administration including sales order processing
  • Experience working within manufacturing desirable but not essential
  • Experience working with SAP desirable but not essential
