What you’ll do as a Solutions Architect – Microservices:
- Lead the design of cutting-edge microservices architecture for high-performance, scalable systems
- Ensure architecture meets critical requirements for security, scalability, and availability
- Set the standard for quality by promoting best practices and architectural standards
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams and the wider tech group to bring your vision to life
- Guide architecture and design reviews through the entire development lifecycle, ensuring top-quality solutions
- Work with Product Management to refine architectures that enable the delivery of powerful new product features
What you’ll bring:
- Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end application architectures for highly concurrent, real-time transactional systems
- Expertise in conceptual, application, integration, and physical modelling
- Strong experience in addressing both functional and non-functional requirements, producing low-level software architectures
- Deep knowledge of Java, APIs, and Microservices, with a track record of delivering robust solutions
- Familiarity with modern development methodologies such as Agile, TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
- Exceptional communication skills to build relationships across all levels of the business
- Experience in the Payments Industry is a plus, but not essential
