We now have exciting permanent opportunities for motivated and suitably qualified Quality Improvement Engineer to join our Technical Communities based in the South West of England. Join us and be part of making a valuable contribution to the mega-infrastructure, Nuclear New Build project at Hinkley Point C (HPC).


The Role

Supporting with the day-to-day management of the Quality Improvement Team, in addition to performing other Quality Improvement activities. The QIE will form part of a team with the primary role of improving quality on site and site Right First Time (RFT). This is achieved by ensuring that the contracted Quality Assurance measures in place are adhered to.


Responsibilities

  • Identifying and investigating improvement opportunities – e.g., technical research, data analysis and business case development.
  • Site Quality Reporting – e.g., distribution of daily non-conformance reports, management and maintenance of site quality dashboards.
  • Contribution to improvement projects – e.g., setting up workshops, data analysis and trials.
  • Support to Quality Improvement Manager – e.g., Delivering presentations, reporting to senior leadership.


Key Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and political awareness within a large client organisation.
  • Conflict resolution involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Facilitation – e.g., experience in leading workshops and brainstorming sessions.
  • Data Analysis Skills – use of statistical models & data visualisations.
