Interim FP&A Director

London Hybrid – 3 days

£160K pro-rata (6 months)


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic FP&A Director to join an innovative and rapidly growing FinTech business based in London. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be at the forefront of driving financial strategy, providing insights, and supporting key decision-making processes that will shape the future of our company. As the FP&A Director, you will lead the financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis efforts, working closely with senior executives to optimise performance and ensure we continue delivering exceptional value to our clients. This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking finance professional to make a significant impact in a cutting-edge industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning and modelling.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and leadership team to shape the company’s strategic financial plan.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly financial presentations to senior stakeholders
  • Partner with business unit heads to build annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop and build reliable financial models for short- and long-term growth, ensuring predictive forecasting across multiple functional areas.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting with the controllership team for accurate free cash flow projections.
  • Analyse financial and operational results to understand performance trends.
  • Communicate product or department performance insights to senior leadership.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, providing actionable financial insights.
  • Prepare business cases for new investments and strategic decisions.


Education and skills:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience working within a growing fintech or similar preferred
  • Proven abilities across financial modelling, analytics, quantitative and statistical skillsets
  • Proven success in partnering across various products, departments and stakeholders
  • NetSuite would be highly advantageous
