Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Employment: Permanent

Location: Northwest (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)

Role Overview

This position has opened following an internal promotion and move within our team! Join our dynamic HR team within the global SAP Technology & Software industry, where you’ll gain diverse experience in a sector known for stability and career growth. We are a close-knit, friendly team where you’ll work directly with the Talent Manager. As a small team, you may have the opportunity to take on broader responsibilities and contribute to business Learning and Development projects and initiatives.

Within the position you will help drive business growth by delivering talent acquisition for the UK, Australia, and occasionally, other global regions. Specialising in high-skill, low-volume recruitment, you’ll build lasting relationships with candidates while gaining deep insight into the SAP talent market. Working closely with hiring managers, you’ll ensure seamless, timely recruitment that meets resourcing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively source and attract top talent for The Config Team.
• Create, post, and manage job adverts while handling inbound applications.
• Conduct screening interviews and present shortlisted candidates.
• Manage the full recruitment process, from interviews to offer negotiations.
• Participate in job fairs and events.
• Work with the marketing team to enhance employer branding.
• Build and maintain talent pools within our ATS.
• Stay informed on talent acquisition trends to enhance recruitment strategies.
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Skills, Experience, and Knowledge

Essential:

• Strong interest or understanding of talent resourcing and the broader Talent Acquisition process.
• Ability to craft engaging job descriptions and highlight company benefits effectively.
• Skilled in managing stakeholder expectations with professionalism.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desirable:

• At least one year of experience in talent resourcing.
• Experience sourcing niche roles such as SAP/ERP or positions within technology or supply chains.
• Background in IT/Technology Consulting recruitment.
• Experience working in an internal talent function and recruitment agency.
• Previous experience in HR, L&D or business administration.
