We now have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Neuro Psychologist to join our Multi Disciplinary team and contribute to providing excellent therapy services at our Hollanden Park Hospital. Overview of the role
The clinical psychologist role will be to lead on the delivery of neuropsychology interventions for patients with neurological conditions admitted to Hollanden Park Hospital, with the support of an assistant psychologist.
The role involves working as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapist's and neurological music therapists.
You will be responsible for providing neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation for our patients with neurological disorders as well as providing support for their families and carers. This includes cognitive rehabilitation, psychological therapy to help with emotional adjustment and engagement in rehabilitation, behavioural interventions, teaching and consultation.
The postholder will be responsible for the clinical and professional supervision of the assistant psychologist.
Essential Experience Required
- Experience of the application of clinical psychology assessment, intervention and outcome measures with patients with neurological conditions.
- Experience of working at a clinical psychologist level in neurological rehabilitation setting
Qualifications Required
-Post-graduate, doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology
- Current registration as a Clinical Psychologist
