Senior Maintenance Manager Luton area in Bedfordshire needed for an award winning UK global manufacturer with a solid structure and team in place. This role comes with career progression to progress further to roles such as Engineering Manager

Maintenance Manager up to 65000 plus bonus up to 10%

YOU MUST HAVE experience of working in FMCG / high speed manufacturing and managing teams within an engineering environment. The company will consider Team Managers.

Monday to Friday role.

Maintenance Manager should have and Electrical or Mechanical, engineering qualifications or Apprenticeship

Maintenance Manager duties

To carry out the requirements of the planned preventive maintenance programme.

• To continue to deliver on the current strong maintenance performance and make any improvements if you see any
• To ensure that production downtime plant reliability and OEE improvement are delivered on all lines.
• To maintain planned maintenance system on all equipment with appropriate budgetary control.
• Make modifications to maintenance plans if needbe.
• To be involved in projects and project management
• Allocate maintenance work to engineering specialists
• Identify training needs of direct reports and prepare plans to meet these needs.
• Ensure correct spare parts stocking, necessary to ensure the operation of lines delivery equipment whilst keeping stock to a minimum.
• Drive and contribute to Continuous Improvement
