Vehicle Technician

About the role

Our client are currently recruiting for a Technician to join the Service Team at our clients independent dealership in Hertfordshire.

This role requires you to carry out general servicing and mechanical repairs. You will be be working on current and classic high performance cars.

• Salary 30,000- 45,000 depending on experience and skillset.
• Working hours 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday with 30 minute lunch break.
• Overtime available in early mornings or Saturdays paid at 20.00- 25.00 p/h depending on experience and skillset.
• Bonus incentive based on the total number of cars sold by the business per year.
• A guaranteed salary increase of 1,000 per year of employment with the company.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Carrying out service, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
• Speaking with customers to provide your expert, technical opinion.
• Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
• Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
