Job Requirements/Description
Our client based in Brackmills, Northampton are currently recruiting for Courier Drivers
Delivering 65 drops a day to local residential properties, traveling as far as Wisbech.
Using PDA scanners to track delivered parcels.
The main duties:
- Efficiently deliver parcels to designated addresses following the planned route.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed within the scheduled time frame.
- Handle parcels with care and ensure they are delivered in perfect condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle any delivery-related queries or issues.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in multi-drop parcel delivery.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record but no more than 8 points.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and carrying parcels.
- Good geographical knowledge of the delivery area.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekend to if required.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ROLE, ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO HAVE A BASIC DISCLOSURE PROCESSED AND MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE POINTS OF CONTACTS FOR REFERENCES TO COVER THE LAST FIVE YEARS WITH NO GAPS.
