Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team in Wembley. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in haulage, trunking and delivery services, with a keen focus on accuracy and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and Timely Deliveries: Ensure the safe transport of goods to designated locations within specified timeframes.
• Proof of Delivery (POD): Accurately complete POD documentation and maintain records for all deliveries.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Route Planning: Efficiently plan routes to optimize delivery times and minimize fuel consumption.
• Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, handling any delivery-related inquiries professionally.
• Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Atleast 1 year Class 1 Driving experience haulage or a similar role is essential.
• Driving License: A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points. TAC and CPC.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with the Wembley area and surrounding routes is advantageous.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and handle goods as required.
• Communication: Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatch teams.

Working Hours

• Shift Pattern: Full-time, with flexibility required for occasional evening or weekend shifts.
• 4 on 4 off Rota.
• 13:00PM- 21:00PM
• Minimum 8 hours
