Senior Care Assistant
Salary: £14.90 - £18.63 Per Hour - D.O.E
Location: Kent, Sevenoaks
Hours: 37 Hours Day Shifts
Healthcare Clinical is looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join a highly professional Nursing Home within the Sevenoaks area, where they have transformed from a Residential Care Home to a Nursing Home. The ideal Senior Care Assistant will have experience working with the elderly and must have a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or working towards this. This is a fantastic opportunity for the Senior Care Assistant to collaborate with a well-established provider.
The Senior Care Assistant will assist the Day Care Team with daily duties and mentor them where needed.
Senior Care Assistant Duties:
- Administering and Safe handling of medication
- Keep care plans up to date for each resident.
- Ensuring care plans are filled out to a high standard by the team.
- To make sure the resident's well-being and person-centered care are to a high-quality standard.
- Keeping in line and up to date with the home policies and procedures
- Conducting supervision meetings once every 2 months

Senior Care Assistant Requirements:
- To have an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or to be working towards it
- 5 GCSE or equivalent
- The Senior Care Assistant will be competent in medication handling and administering.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, excel, outlook, and IT skills.
- Empathetic, sympathetic, and respectful towards all residents and staff members
- Ability to work towards deadlines with accuracy and diligence.
- Understanding person-centered care
