Job Requirements/Description

We know that people want great value combined with an excellent experience from a bank they can trust, so we launched our digital bank, Chase UK, to revolutionise mobile banking with seamless journeys that our customers love. We're already trusted by millions in the US and we're quickly catching up in the UK - but how we do things here is a little different. We're building the bank of the future from scratch, channelling our start-up mentality every step of the way - meaning you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact.

As a Product Manager at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle stages.

Our Marketing team is at the heart of this venture, focused on getting smart ideas into the hands of our customers. We're looking for people who have a curious mindset, thrive in collaborative squads, and are passionate about new technology. By their nature, our people are also solution-oriented, commercially savvy and have a head for fintech. We work in tribes and squads that focus on specific products and projects - and depending on your strengths and interests, you'll have the opportunity to move between them.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an analytical and customer-focused Product Manager to lead the optimisation and scaling of marketing automation within our central Growth Platform. The role will enable personalised messaging for our customers across a range of channels, along with the effective automation of campaign workflows for internal customers.

You will leverage qualitative industry and user insights alongside our quantitative analytics systems to create the product strategy and roadmap, producing specifications that evolve the product. You will develop, test and iterate new features and data models, working closely with stakeholders in Marketing, Data Science, Engineering and Governance to ensure quality deliverables on-time.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing automation squad, driving customer engagement and revenue growth through the effective automation of campaigns and operational workflows
  • Build platform capabilities around personalised next-best-action messaging across a broad range of channels, monitoring KPIs to measure the success of initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering, data and marketing partners to specify feature details, create user stories, drive Agile delivery and UAT.
  • Provide data-backed recommendations across multiple concurrent projects; design and implement product testing strategies around these recommendations.
  • Effectively prioritise and manage trade-offs to ensure successful delivery of features to production that meet customer needs.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides and release notes.
  • Build strong partnerships with controls and governance teams to deploy effective solutions in a regulated industry.
  • Drive user adoption and satisfaction through effective communication and training programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge of relevant technologies and implications for your squad.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Social Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with focused experience in martech in marketing or workflow automation.
  • Skilled in data-driven product optimisation: able to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate action plans to support decisions.
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of complex and highly scalable applications.
  • Experience crafting intuitive and straightforward user interfaces - ability to build examples through wireframes and mock-ups.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience using Agile methodologies and leading a squad of engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable with and adaptable to change. We work in an innovative fast growth environment where products and processes evolve rapidly.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience within fintech or regulated industry desirable.
