Class 1 Walking Floor Driver

Driver Support Services are recruiting for a permanent position in Hertfordshire for a Class 1 Walking Floor Driver Annual salary, negotiable on experience.

This role is for an agricultural based company, who have diversified into many different avenues over the years.

Much of the work is still agriculturally based, moving straw, plant machinery, compost and woodchips to and from their farms, and to end users.

Pushing up the compost heaps & loading yourself will be part of the role, training for this will be given.

You will be required to keep in contact with sites and provide exceptional customer service.

For the role you must be able to do the following:

• Able to Swap Loaded trailers
• Stay within rules and regulations, working time directive and Driving hours.
• Complete relevant paperwork.
• Happy to do 4 nights out if needed on occasion
• Minimum of 12 months experience Class 1
• be Physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Have walking Floor experience
• Forklift/Telehandler/Loading shovel licence or experience.
• Be flexible with working hours where necessary.

This is a full time permanent role.

Annual salary, negotiable on experience.
