Job Title: Production Operative

Job Type: Temporary - ongoing

Pay rate: 13.99/hour - 17.85/hour

Location: Bournville, B30 2HP

Shifts: 12 hours

Days - 7am-7pm & Nights: 7pm-7am (Must be flexible for both shifts as it is rotational shift)

Start Date: ASAP

Our client is an international market-leading food manufacturer. They pride themselves on having a passion for great food, world-class business processes, and exceptionally talented people working at the Bournville facility.

Job overview: Undertake operational tasks as required, running equipment safely and in accordance with instructions and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the packing of all food products (chocolates)
• Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties as directed Assisting with the achievement of production targets.
• Demonstrating the competent application of good manufacturing practices required to consistently operate to high standards of food quality and food safety
• Complying with Company hygiene policies and procedures when undertaking operations while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene
• Working to business KPI's

Qualifications:

• Food Safety Level 2 accreditation trained
• Previous experience in food production is an advantage
• Must be flexible with both shifts
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels.
