Are you an experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner with a passion for anaesthetics? Our client, a leading independent healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their Theatre department at The Runnymede Hospital in Chertsey. As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic, you will:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase.
  • Support and coordinate the management and organisation of care within the operating department.
  • Provide clinical and managerial leadership to ensure quality patient care.
  • Drive patient care delivery during specified periods.
  • Ensure adherence to patient safety policies.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
  • Promote best evidence-based practices within your scope.
  • Apply relevant legislation, policies, and procedures correctly.

The ideal person for the Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetic role should have:

  • Registration with NMC or HCPC.
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to the specialty, such as Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant.
  • Approved/recognised anaesthetic course.
  • ILS certification.
  • Orthopaedic skills.
  • Mentorship and ILM3 qualifications.
  • Experience in an acute healthcare environment.
  • Experience in managing and leading a clinical team.
