As the Supplier Vetting Operations Manager, you will be a key player within the Procurement Excellence leadership team, tasked with identifying and mitigating risks associated with third-party organisations and suppliers.

Job Description

In this role, you will manage two Supplier Vetting Operations Coordinators, ensuring a robust vetting process is in place for all third-party engagements across ISS UK and Ireland.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Excellence, your responsibilities will include overseeing data collection, analysis, and review processes.

You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that every supplier has been thoroughly vetted, ensuring compliance and safeguarding the company's interests.

If you're ready to drive excellence in supplier risk management, apply now and join our team in creating a secure and reliable supply chain for ISS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the risk assessment of all new supplier onboarding requests, collating the required evidence to progress approval by Supply Chain & Procurement and the creation of either a vetting record or waiver for each new supplier
  • Liaising with the Group Supply Chain & Procurement vetting team in Warsaw who manage the ISS ProcurePASS vetting solution, resolving escalations and agreeing the prioritisation of vetting requirements from the UK and Ireland businesses
  • Managing the renewal of vetting records for existing suppliers on a periodic basis
  • Overseeing the collation and review of additional certificates and data from suppliers delivering technical services to ISS
  • Managing and reporting on performance per supplier vetting activity
  • Managing systems, tools, and mechanisms to collate and store all associated data and information regarding new supplier onboardings, supplier vetting, and supplier accreditation
  • Routinely re-communicating the parameters of our vetting activities and their importance to all stakeholders, securing their continued buy-in and cooperation
  • Supporting as required for wider supplier assurance activities, Procurement Excellence projects, and Supply Chain & Procurement objectives

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Previous employment in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Supplier Assurance or Vetting or strong corporate background in other professional services within a large organisation
  • Degree level education or professional qualification (e.g., CIPS) is highly desirable
  • Demonstrable experience in stakeholder/relationship management skills
  • Organised, thorough, and diligent work ethic; a desire to take ownership of tasks and deadlines, executing activities without micromanagement
  • Fluency in the use of systems, technologies, and data management platforms to analyse and organise information is essential
