Job Requirements/Description

The focus of this role is end-to-end management of our Supply Chain, including Materials Planning, Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Warehousing, Despatch & both Internal Transport plus external Storage & Transport Operations. The role is part of the Site Management Team, supporting the development & implementation of strategies that will enable the company to achieve its vision, targets & objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive safety compliance across all supply chain activities
  • Ensure all our supply chain processes & operations are fully compliant with all relevant legislation
  • Create and manage our end-to-end supply chain strategy, driving efficiencies through all operations whilst exceeding customer & stakeholder service expectations
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships with external compromising of 3PL's, Suppliers and Co-packers
  • Evaluate and report on all KPI's, looking for opportunities to drive supply chain efficiencies through internal and external operations
  • Manage cost to serve across the supply chain; optimized raw material & finished goods stock holding levels to meet demand, optimized production planning to drive operational KPI's and cost effective routes to all served markets

Applied Skills, Knowledge, Experience

  • Management experience in Chilled Food Manufacturing (FMCG)
  • Ability to manage, control and influence people and processes across the supply chain.
  • Numerical and analytical skills to ensure accurate record keeping for all aspects of area of responsibility.
  • Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Experience using relevant software (e.g. ERP system, MS office, Excel, Word)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and management skill. Prioritising, forward planning and delegation being key.
  • Attention to detail and creative problem-solving approach
  • A strategic and analytical mind

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively at all levels
  • Awareness of diversity within the workforce and techniques to manage this
  • Objective, rational and calm
  • A relationship builder as this is important in maintain high level of service and quality
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills. Able to plan tasks weeks ahead
  • Able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment as well as demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be proficient in resource planning - labour planning in particular
  • Mathematical ability to work with production plans and figures
  • Good judgement and analytical ability
  • Energetic - and able to inject their own energy into the Team
