The Opportunity

Working primarily in our Ambulatory Care Unit, you will be joining an agile and highly energised multidisciplinary team where you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience across a range of specialties and levels of complexity. Supported by our Clinical Head of Department, you’ll have autonomy to utilise your acquired expertise and skills to make decisions that will ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.

As our Endoscopy and Minor Ops Lead you will:

• Support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Endoscopy department.
• Lead in the delivery of patient care
• Provide quality planned care for our patients during all phases of their journey.

The Person

To succeed as an Endoscopy and Minor Ops Lead you will need:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Two years or more experience in an endoscopy setting
• NMC or HCPC registration
• Equipment ordering link
• Manage WHO checklist compliance
• Manage a team of registered practitioners
• Incident investigation for department
• IPC link
• Responsible for monitoring induction books and sign off for new starters.
• Undertake the one Nuffield future leaders programme.
• Be responsible for JAG accreditation for the site
