The Role:

Work alongside teachers, providing in-class support and leading small group interventions for targeted students on the SEND register.

The SEN unit caters to students with ASD.

The successful candidate will :

Hold experience working with young people in education or related sectors and suitable qualifications/skills to support learning.

• Demonstrated passion for supporting young people to reach their potential.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and adults.
• Strong organizational skills and record-keeping abilities.
• Calm, supportive demeanour with adaptability.
• Deliver excellent support for independent student study.
• Willingness to specialize in specific areas, such as SLCN, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and EAL.

• Be available on a full-time basis
• Hold a high-level degree
• Commit for at least 2 terms
• Have Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

• Have a legal right to work in the UK
