We here at Siamo Recruitment are working with a leading firm going into their busiest period, they are keen to onboard Warehouse Operative(s) to join them through their journey. This is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills, grow as part of a highly skilled team and effectively meet the required targets.
As the Warehouse Operative you will cover all sides of distribution which allows for a varied workload working within a well run family organisation.
This Warehouse Operative is a contract role offering opportunities from September through to January 2025 with some opportunities for the right talent to go permanent with our client.
Hours:
- Monday Friday 06:30am 15:00pm
The Warehouse Operative is required to complete the below responsibilities:
- Ensure that picking and shipping output and quality is maximised.
- Ensure products are picked correctly and efficiently according to the order form
- Ensure adherence to any company policies and Standard Operating Procedures set out by the company
- Assist the Despatch Supervisor in carrying out regular stock checks to ensure finished product numbers are in line with the ERP system.
- Replenish stock in the despatch warehouse when required, highlighting any stock shortages or discrepancies.
- Collect stock from the production department as and when required.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times.
- Helping with end of day tasks such as, bagging up of parcels, and moving cages
- Liaising with customer services regarding issues with orders.
As the Warehouse Operative you require the below skills and exposure:
- Warehouse experience is essential
- Full UK Driving License
- Previous exposure working with scanners
- Previous experience processing and booking out stock would be advantageous
- Ability to converse confidently with all levels of the business
- Having a positive attitude to work and being a good team player
- Having a good eye for detail
