An "Outstanding" Primary School in the Borough of Tower Hamlets is looking to recruit a Sports Coach for a September start. This is a full time, and long-term post for an academic year.

What shall the role of a Sports Coach entail?

• Working alongside the PE Lead
• Creating new ideas around the sports curriculum
• Delivering all PE sessions
• Running after School clubs
• Promoting healthy eating & living to both pupils and staff!
• Allowing each child, the opportunity to complete the daily mile
• The opportunity to enroll onto teacher training in the future

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has prior experience as a Coach or Sports Teaching Assistant who is now looking to gain further experience in a Primary School.

The school is made up of inspiring & hardworking staff who will always go above and beyond to support both their children and employees - The School has very limited turnover for a 2-form entry School!

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Sports Coach
• Working alongside the PE Lead
• Creating new ideas around the sports curriculum
• Running after School clubs
• Promoting healthy eating & living to both pupils and staff!
• Allowing each child, the opportunity to complete the daily mile
• The opportunity to enroll onto teacher training in the future
• Working with KS1 & KS2 pupils
• September Start - long-term & full time.
• Working hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm or 10am - 4:30pm
• 105 per day
• Located in the Borough of Tower Hamlets

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have an outgoing, forward-thinking and creative personality
• You must be willing to learn and get stuck in with multiple roles
• Previous Sports or Coaching experience is desirable
