Electrical Estimator

Electrical Estimator

·       Full-time with competitive salary £ 30 000 - £ 50 000 per annum (based on experience)

·       Performance related bonus

·       Reasonable expenses

·       Use of company pool car for business related travel

·       25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays with an additional 5 company day holidays

Typical Daily Duties:

·       Adjudicating enquiries with clients and the internal sales team

·       Reviewing agreed tenders, analysing specifications, and designs to complete take offs

·       Calculating the cost of materials, labour, and prelims

• Obtaining quotes from specialist or named suppliers 
• Communication with clients to manage needs and expectations 
• Making use of relevant computer software such as Excel and Word
• Visiting prospective sites to support tender bids
• Visiting clients to present costs and convert sales
• Liaising closely with others team members within the company to compile a tender return or bid

Key Skills:

·       Electrical experience would be a distinct advantage

·       Experience with estimating software packages

·       Microsoft office experience

·       Excellent verbal and written skills

·       Administrative experience beneficial 

·       Customer care and communication skills imperative
