Fabric Assistant (Painter)

My client, a well-established private hospital in the heart of London, are seeking a dedicated Fabric Assistant to handle various fabric-related tasks including painting, maintenance, and decorating across our facilities. Day-to-day of the role:
- Mix paints, match colours, prepare surfaces, and apply paint to these surfaces. You may also perform touch-ups or coordinate larger painting projects.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with Clinic procedures.
- Participate in a four-on-four off shift system, including night shifts, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in painting & decorating.
- Strong awareness of health & safety legislation and experience working to safe systems of work.
- Ability to climb ladders and carry heavy equipment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards in all work and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

This post is on a 4 days on - 4 days off shift pattern and will require the occasional weekend and evening/night shifts.
