Our client who won an award for Top Employer 2024 is looking a candidate with freight forwarding experience in European Road Freight.

Main Duties:

• Monitoring market habits and notifying management when appropriate.
• Up selling to customers through knowledge of services and products.
• Providing a high level of customer service and support at all times when responding to customer queries.
• Dealing with customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Generating accurate rates for quotations for customers.
• Monitoring shipments from start to end ensuring the customer is informed with the appropriate information throughout.
• Maintaining and updating customer files with interactions, transactions and complaints.
• Arranging transport of goods into depot.
• Providing KPI reports to clients.

Requirements:

• Must have 2 years Road freight forwarding experience.
• Knowledge of customs clearance requirements - post Brexit.
• Successful history of building customer relationships.
• Good level of communication and negotiating skills.
