Your Role: HGV Driver/Loader

• Operate company vehicles to collect loads from various commercial, industrial, HRW Sites and residential locations nationwide.
• Follow planned routes and schedules provided by the operations team.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects, ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards.
• Manually or mechanically load and unload, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently.
• Use appropriate handling equipment such as trolleys, pallet trucks, and tail lifts to assist with loading/unloading operations.
• Compliance with all legislation including driver's hours and highway regulations.
• Provide customers with the highest level of service.
• Excellent awareness and understanding of Health and Safety.

The ideal person will have:

• Class 2 driving licence
• Juniors are accepted
• Digital tachograph
• Valid driver CPC
• Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
• Excellent customer service
• Have a can-do attitude
• Passion for driving
• ADR - dangerous goods qualification is desirable
